Digital tools with impact

Whether you call it EdTech, new techs or digital technology, there has been a growing place and interest in exploring technologies that can support learning. Never has a profession adapted so quickly to technology, as teachers did when we embraced online learning during the pandemic. In this digital tools session we will explore Education Technology that goes beyond the faddiness of the 'next big thing' and need for expensive devices. Instead we will focus on cheap, easy and relevant tech that we can use with our students to support them in developing their confidence and success.

The tools to be shared are tried and tested, from the work Kate Broadribb conducted during the DfE EdTech Demonstrator programme working with primary, secondary and special schools across the south east last year. We invite you to consider what digital tools have had the most impact in your teaching? What about your students, will they agree and say the same? How are they using EdTech to support their learning in school and in self-study?
